God began tugging at my heart as a teenager to surrender my life for His service, and I was launched into the great adventure, privileged and excited at the thought that He would use a clay pot like me to shine the light of His glory and grace to wherever and whomever He would send me! (II. Cor. 4:7)

A ministry principle I learned from early adulthood, is… “God is at work all around me!  Look and see where He is working and join Him there!”  Whether overseas or stateside I have loved being a proclaimer of the Gospel where He plants me!

I am passionate for the Word of God as it is my life and light, and nothing thrills me more than to walk alongside girls and women of all ages through the Word and witness them “behold” their God and watch their lives transformed from glory to glory! (II Cor. 3:18)

Fourteen years ago God called our family to a specific urban community in Wichita and through the years we have served our neighborhood in a variety of capacities.  My husband and I prayed for 12 years that the beautiful 7000 square foot house across the street from our house would be used for Kingdom purposes!  God has answered my prayers and more with the Lady Bugg House!  God has done immeasurably more than I could ask or dream by placing my Kingdom assignment across the street from my house that is so in line with my passions, gift and calling!  The Lord is AMAZING!

We are delighted to introduce our new House Mom, Linda Howard.  The Lord continues to amaze us and dazzle us with His Majesty.  Once again He has provided us with the perfect person to fill a need. Linda is a beautiful addition to our Lady Bugg House team and we are so excited for her to begin. Linda’s Story:

I knew from an early age that I wanted to serve God.  He has opened many doors in my life time to serve Him in a variety of ways.   Those past experiences are now coming together as pieces of a puzzle to serve and touch the lives of His precious daughters and their children of the Lady Bugg House.

This is by far more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.   To be a part of a seeing God work in the lives these incredible young women, help them develop a relationship with our Jesus Christ, and then to take that relationship and put that knowledge into their children….there is nothing that can compare.  We have yet to even see all that God is going to do, who He is going to touch, and the impact these mothers and children will have on our world.

Thank you Holland Paving for helping us make improvements to the Lady Bugg House with our new concrete.

On the 4th Wednesday of every month the Lady Bugg House girls serve the neighborhood kids with a Bible Club.  These are pictures from that evening.

We had an amazing Christmas at the Lady Bugg House.  Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it special.  The moms and their children were showered with the Love of Jesus through amazing people who bought them gifts.  We are so grateful to everyone who has played a role in bringing the HOPE of Jesus to these moms and children.  We are grateful.  Happy New Year!
