Give me a chance!

Ashley came to the Lady Bugg House in September of 2011 along with her precious daughter Rylee.  Ashley’s life was transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit as she gave her life to Christ shortly after being at the Lady Bugg House.  Ashley has grown so much and desires to be the young woman and mother God designed her to be.

When Ashley came to us she was living in her car…if you met her now you would see the bright and beautiful young woman that she is.

Ashley has been looking for a job for the past few months and has been unsuccessful in obtaining employment.  She has been meeting with a work force mentor and working with her advocates at the Lady Bugg House.

Could you help us.  If you know of any one hiring or see signs for employment when you are out and about would you please let us know?  Would you please be praying for the right opportunity to open up for Ashley.  She is eager to work and will be a hard worker.  You can post encouragement to Ashley on our Facebook page to encourage her as she is patient through this process.

Christmas Wish Lists

The house is in need of Enfamil AR, Stage 2 car seats, batteries, and Size 4 and 5 diapers and pull ups for boys and girls.

We have been asked to provide wish lists for the girls and their babies for the holiday.  Wrapped gifts can be dropped off at the Lady Bugg House Monday-Thursday from 10-2 or by appointment. We want these gifts to be from you so please include a gift card.

NEAH…not even a hint

The Lady Bugg House is excited about our partnership with NEAH ministries.  November 12 from 4:00-8:00 pm is an event for high school girls to come and learn about God’s design for them as women.  Tally Stroud is passionate about helping young girls see themselves as God sees them.  She gives them insight into understanding God’s design for them and helping them understand that they need to make choices that honor God’s plan for their lives.  We are so excited about this event and want all high school girls to attend.  Individuals and youth groups are welcome.  Contact us at 316.440.2844 to RSVP.  This event is underwritten by sponsors so there is no cost to attend.

New life in Christ

Ashley is a resident at the Lady Bugg House.  She was homeless before she came to the Lady Bugg House.  Through the work of the Holy Spirit Ashley gave up her life to Christ on Saturday, September 17, 2011.  Stay tuned to hear her story about how God is transforming her life.
